How shipments get added to a manifest
When you create a label (either as a single shipment or in a batch), you pick a Group in the Create label dialog. Every shipment you label against that group is added to its manifest automatically.
To create a new group, click New group in the Create label dialog, enter a name, and click Create group. The new group becomes available immediately for this and future labels.
View groups and manifests
- Go to Dashboard β Manifests.
- Filter by status using the tabs at the top: Open, Closed, or All.
- Click any group to see the shipments it contains.
Close a group and print the manifest
You can close a group from the create-label dialog or from the manifests page.
When you're labeling the last shipment for a group:
- Check Close consolidation group and print manifest in the Create label dialog.
- Pick the fulfillment center the manifest will be filed against. This defaults to your primary fulfillment center.
- Click Create label (or Create labels if you're batching).
After the label and packing-slip print dialogs are dismissed, Zonos closes the group, downloads the manifest PDF, and opens a print dialog for it.
Reprint a closed manifest
- Go to Dashboard β Manifests.
- Click the Closed tab.
- Open the manifest.
- Click Download manifest to save the PDF, then open it locally to print.
Closed manifests cannot be reopened. If you need to remove a shipment after closing, void the label β voiding a shipment in a closed manifest will not change the printed manifest, so make sure your physical parcel handoff matches what you handed Japan Post.
Closing and printing manifests
A manifest is the Japan Post Code 61 dispatch slip you hand over with your parcels. Group shipments together as you create labels, then close the group to print the manifest.
